中南大学湘雅医院简介
中南大学湘雅医院坐落于中国历史文化名城长沙。创办于1906年的湘雅医院，是中国和美国耶鲁大学雅礼协会联合创建的西医院，素有“南湘雅”之美誉，现隶属于国家教育部直属全国重点大学中南大学。历经百余年发展，中南大学湘雅医院现已成为国家卫生和计划生育委员会直属，集“医疗、教学、科研”于一体的现代化大型综合性医院，是我国重要的医疗诊治、医学教育和医学研究中心。现拥有编制床位3500张。
湘雅遵循“公勇勤慎、诚爱谦廉、求真求确、必邃必专”的湘雅校训，秉承“严谨、团结、求实、进取”的湘雅精神，培养造就了张孝骞、汤飞凡、李振翩等一大批在国内外有影响的医学名医名家。在医学界有“内科全才”之称的张孝骞，系湘雅第一届毕业生，是我国著名内科学家、医学教育家、中国消化病学的奠基人；被称为世界“衣原体之父”的著名微生物学家、免疫学家汤飞凡，在世界第一个成功分离沙眼病毒，获得诺贝尔奖提名。毛泽东同志曾高度赞扬湘雅的医疗水平，并多次介绍亲友来院看病。
湘雅治学严谨，临床教学特色突出。在全国医学院校本科生五次联考中，均获得全国第一名的好成绩。2012年，湘雅学子获得第三届全国高等医学院校大学生临床技能竞赛总决赛特等奖。湘雅拥有国家级教学团队和多名国家级教学名师，现有5门课程为国家级精品课程，是全国拥有国家级精品课程最多的医院。每年承担3000多名研究生、本科生、进修生教学任务，是国家专科医生和西部卫生人才的重要培训基地。
百年湘雅医疗技术力量雄厚。有临床医疗、医技科室88个。现拥有国家临床重点建设专科项目18个，居全国医院前列。医学科学研究有着重要的影响力。主编国家级重要医学专业期刊9种。现有国家重点学科5个、拥有国家地方联合工程实验室1个，部省级重点实验室、研究中心12个。2012年获各类科研经费近亿元。
医院充分彰显公立医院公益性。2012年在全国公立医院社会贡献度排名中居全国第四位。医院相继荣获全国卫生系统先进集体、全国百家医院、全国科普工作先进集体、全国行风建设先进集体、全国卫生系统护理巾帼文明岗、全国百姓放心示范医院、全国最受欢迎三甲医院等多种荣誉称号。
Introduction of Xiangya Hospital, Central South University
Xiangya Hospital is located in Changsha, a city with a long history and brilliant culture in China. Co-founded in 1906 by the Chinese government and Yale-China Association at Yale University of the United States, Xiangya Hospital has long enjoyed the reputation of "South Xiangya", which means "the best hospital in southern China", and now is affiliated to Central South University, a national key university under direct supervision of the Ministry of Education. After more than a century"s development, Xiangya Hospital has become a large, modern general hospital as well as a key center for health care, medical education and medical research in China. It is now under the direct supervision of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People"s Republic of China. Currently there are 3,500 beds in the hospital.
Adhering to the Xiangya spirit of "Strictness, Unity, Honesty and Enterprise", we have cultivated a group of medical experts influential at home and abroad such as Xiaoqian Zhang, Feifan Tang, Zhenpian Li, etc. Xiaoqian Zhang, known as “an all-rounder in internal medicine”, a famous expert in digestive diseases and medical educator in China, was among the first graduates from Xiangya School of Medicine. Feifan Tang, famous microbiologist and immunologist, was the first in the world who succeeded in the separation of trachoma virus and thus won a Nobel Prize nomination. Chairman Mao Zedong highly praised Xiangya for its high medical quality, and introduced family and friends to the hospital many times.
Xiangya is very strict in teaching with prominent features in clinical training. In the national joint exams for undergraduates of medical schools, Xiangya students ranked the first for five times. In 2012, Xiangya students won the top award in the 3rd National Contest of Clinical Skills for Medical Students. Xiangya has a national teaching team and a number of nationally well-known teachers. There are 5 National Excellent Courses conducted at Xiangya Hospital, more than in any other hospitals in China. Over 3,000 graduate students, undergraduate students and visiting students study at Xiangya Hospital annually. The hospital is also a key training base for national specialist physicians and health professionals from western China.
Xiangya is strong in medical technology and research. There are 88 clinical medical and medical technology departments in the hospital. Currently it has 18 national key clinical specialist projects, ranking the top among China"s hospitals. In addition, Xiangya Hospital, as the chief editor of 9 significant national medical journals, has great influence in medical research. At present, it has 5 national key disciplines, 1 national and local joint laboratory, and 12 ministerial and provincial key laboratories and research centers. In 2012, the hospital won research funding of nearly 100 million RMB.
As a public hospital, Xiangya is continuously committed to public service. It ranked the 4th in 2012 among China"s public hospitals in terms of contribution to the society. The hospital has successively won numerous honors including National Outstanding Organization in the Health System, One of China"s Best 100 Hospitals, National Outstanding Organization in Science Popularization, National Reliable Model Hospital, Most Popular 3rd Grade, Class A Hospital in the Country, etc.
